When this extension helps
Use it when the backup file is valid but WordPress refuses the upload because the migration plugin limit is too low.
Before importing
Check three things first: server disk space, PHP upload limits and execution time. A larger limit does not guarantee a successful restore if the hosting environment cannot process the file.
Migration advice
Always keep the original backup outside the server. If possible, test the restore on staging before applying it to production.
Alternative options
For very large sites, a manual migration using database exports and file synchronization can be more reliable than a browser-based import.
